New Covenant School is also pleased to announce that the Valedictorian for the class of 2014 is Miss Rebecca Reiter, the daughter of Dr. David and Mrs. Carla Reiter.  Miss Reiter has attended New Covenant School since the sixth grade and she plans to continue her education at Erskine College while majoring in Biology. She ultimately would like to seek a career in Genetic Counseling.

The Salutatorian of the class of 2014 is Miss Katherine Curnow. Katherine is the daughter of Mr. Kevin and Mrs. Sarah Curnow, and has been a longtime New Covenant School student.  Miss Curnow will continue her education at Tri-County College for two years and then transfer to Covenant College. She plans to pursue a medical career, perhaps as a physician’s assistant.

New Covenant School's 2014 graduating class has two Palmetto Fellows Scholars. The Palmetto Fellows is the highest scholarship from the South Carolina Commission for Higher Education. It is worth $6,700 for the freshman year and then $7,500 for the following three years.  New Covenant School is extremely proud to announce that Mr. Thomas Settle and Miss Rebecca Reiter have received this scholarship. The Palmetto Fellows is for use at in-state schools and many of those schools award extra scholarship money to the Palmetto Fellows Scholars that enroll. Mr. Settle will be attending Clemson University in the fall.

For the graduation ceremony, New Covenant School will have three junior marshals.  Marshals are juniors that have the highest rank in their class. This year's marshals will be Miss Riley Sumner, Mr. Caleb Boyte, and Miss Mary Katherine Mock.

New Covenant School's commencement exercises will be on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 6:30PM in New Covenant Church's sanctuary. The public is welcome to attend.
