Family Testimony; The Woodys
Our experience began at New Covenant when Malachi was just three years old. The plan was for this to be the place for Malachi throughout his preschool years, so for his kindergarten year we enrolled in a nearby public school. After many conversations and prayers the decision was made to re-enroll at New Covenant for first grade.
Within one week of school it was evident the right decision had been made. Our family was where we belonged! Our six year old was no longer asking to stay at home instead of going to school. He was content and already learning so much. According to Malachi, "I love my school!"
The reason is simple. The environment at New Covenant is different. The faculty and staff work extremely hard to provide an education through different strategies. There is a love for one another as well as an emphasis placed on learning about God. Our son is becoming the young man we desire for him to be right in front of our eyes. The amazing thing is that it is being cultivated and encouraged on a daily basis at New Covenant. To say we are lucky is an understatement. A more appropriate phrase that encompasses how we feel would be that a prayer has been answered. Thank you all for allowing us to be a part of the New Covenant Family!
