Service Highlight - Calvary Home for Children!

Our time to Serve Others In Love is getting closer! We are very excited for our Day of Service in the Anderson community THIS FRIDAY!
We have been highlighting our different service projects recently. Today we would like to highlight CALVARY HOME FOR CHILDREN! For those that do not know, Calvary Home provides help, hope, and home to abused and neglected children. Their vision is to build an exceptional community of nurturing homes for displaced children in the Upstate through their main campus (right down the street from NCS) and by licensing individual foster homes in Anderson County. They strive for every child to be nurtured in a welcoming, reliable, and Christ-centered home and be united with their family as a more physically, emotionally, and academically stable individual.
New Covenant Church and School has had a special connection with Calvary Home over the years. Recently one of our very own families, the Webbs, have been house parents. As you can imagine, having so many children takes a lot of work! So our fifth grade (including our 5th grader Alyssa Webb) will be heading to Calvary Home Friday morning to serve in a variety of ways to keep the homes cleaned, organized and running well!
Thank you to all our sponsors for this great event! We have had a lot of donations come in the last two days - we will look to update everyone Wednesday! If you would like to donate or ask someone else to sponsor, it is not too late!
All donations are tax deductible and no donation is too small!
We will be accepting contributions through December 20th, so there is still time!
Remember that 20% of all donations will go to our Science and Technology Fund!
Let us know if you have any questions!
